  • Comments: This was my second triathlon and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Race Director Glenn Beck deserves much praise for putting on such a great event. Compared to CapTex earlier in summer, this actually felt like a race and not a parade. There were drinks, freeze pops and pizza after the race. My medal looks really cool and I will definetly race again next year.

  • Comments: My 2nd year doing this event. It is close and small which is nice. The family was there and could spot me easily.

  • Comments: This is the third year for this race. They have done a great job puttign it on each year. I really need to work on my run. I don't want to have to run with the fear of getting passed, although that did me some good today. I'm giving up 1-1.5 minutes/mile. If the bike was shorter or a couple guys a bit faster on the bike, goodbye podium spot. My swim is coming along but I need to dial in my effort better. I spotted a few guys upwards of 2 minutes on the swim. That needs to change.

  • Comments: This is one of my favorite races of the year. It's an ideal location, well organized, and a fun venue to race. I like the smaller races anyway - not the mass chaos and stress of some of the larger ones. A great way to spend a morning!
