  • Comments: Great race but not fun as a 6 man team! We past every team in the field except 2. One of those teams past us at leg 13. The other team started behind us and never caught us but beat us by 25 minutes. The teams started out 30 minutes apart. We started at 11:30 A.m. and the first teams started at 5 a.m. Just a brutal race as a 6 man team. almost all the teams were 12 man. We were the fastest 6 man team on the day by more than 2 hours.We all received a 100.00 dollar gift certificate to north face. All in all it was tough on no sleep as we were an active van the whole time. The 12 man teams had several hours between runs and could stop and sleep. Now to sleeep myself and get ready for 5430 long course the next day at 5 a.m. I went to bed at 5 the night before and woke up at 3:30 to get to boulder. Read my 5430 long course race report next! 200 miles total for the relay in 23 hours and 30 minutes. That is a 7:17 pace overall.
