  • Comments: Race was really fun. I only had 8 real weeks of tri training before this and was happy I chose this race for a "check" on my progress. I am doing Vineman 70.3 in July and this race gave me the confidence that I need to continue. Going to kick up the intensity of my workouts until Vineman.

  • Comments: First, I want to thank all the great volunteers who worked hard to help out, to encourage and cheer all participants. Special thanks to the San Diego Tri club members who were all over the place, cheering for all of us who participated. It is a low key race, with a great course. I enjoyed it a lot.

  • Comments: This race is well-organized and well-supported. The late Seal start made for a long pre-race morning, but there was no rush for the facilities and we got to watch the Frog waves start in the open ocean. I would like to do the Frog as it seems like a tough challenge, but since the event is so close to the Boston Marathon, I think I'll be limited to the Seal for the foreseeable future.
