  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: I knew I was not going to get any awards but I stuck around for them any way. I was surprised that most people had gone by then. It was really neat to see everyone who got an award so proud....not to mention all the cool stuff I got because I did stay!

  • Comments: I will do this race next year, I just hope it is a tad bit warmer. Thanks to all the volunteers and cheering people, even the ones on the bike course out on Farrington, just out in their driveway cheering, that was awesome.

  • Comments: Well - since it's my first, it is by default my best! I really had a good time today. I felt like I could've met more people, talked to some more folks, etc., and perhaps at the next race I'll make a better attempt to meet my fellow racers. But I did have a blast, and really enjoyed the experience, despite the cold. I learned a bit about what to work on (I'd especially like to get faster on the bike, though need to speed up the run and swim, too), and also a bit on how to streamline the transition process.
