  • Comments: This race is all grown up now. The expo was very good and the race was also very well done aside from the fact its a bit more crowded than I would like. 26,000 over 13 miles = 2000 people on each mile. ACK. They had lots of things to keep you engaged and entertained. One of the charities associated with this race is an organization for Rett syndrome which my best friend from colleges' daughter has. Next year we may run it together pushing Alaina in her wheelchair. My princessdom to train and race uninjured

  • Comments: This was a fun and very well run race but you should not be doing it to set a PR. The humidity wasn't something that could have been controlled but the crowds were. The course just didn't fit the number of people trying to do it.

  • Comments: Lots of walkers in this race. Even starting in coral D out of H, still spend most of the race working around walkers. Got into coral B, but ran with Susan and Tammy in D

  • Comments: Post race there were only oranges, bananas, granola bars, and maybe muffins? Not a huge variety. Once you left the finish area, there was nowhere to get water...I had to wait almost 3 hours for the other gals to finsh so that was a bummer.

  • Comments: Disney is Disney. Large race with a HUGE back of the pack field. Crowds, way early start time. But, I've found that the people participating in Disney races as a group are there to have FUN, they bring cameras, take character pictures, dress in costume and party the whole time!

  • Comments: This was a very fun race and an awesome fun weekend. Everything was very well done....well except the post race food because that did kind of suck but everything else was really good. When you signed up you picked your favorite princess and your bib was colored accordingly. I was Belle and my bib was yellow. It said Princess Susan on it. Very sweet. Janice and I had an awesome awesome weekend all around. Big congrats to Janice on her first 1/2 marathon. She is already talking about next year!!!
