  • Comments: This is the best race I've done so far - wow! Well organized, fun course, spectators, even the ANNOUNCER deserves props - the things he said throughout the race really showed and shared his respect for the sport.

  • Comments: Loved this race! Will make it an annual event. This was only my 2nd Oly distance race and I am extremely pleased with my performance, especially on the bike. I feel a little more prepared for BSLT after this.

  • Comments: It was great to meet up with the other BT'ers and have dinner at Dennis' home. Thanks Dennis. This was a great event. The layout of the course makes it very spectator friendly. My wife was able to see me on the bike 4 or 5 times and 3 times on the run. The crowds were great. I love the cow bells clanging. I will definitely do this race again.

  • Comments: I had a great time despite either breaking or severely jamming my toe. It is COMPLETELY black and blue from my joint up to my toe nail. I iced it when I got home and took some Advil. It doesn't really hurt any more, and it was never really swollen, just a really ugly dark purple color! I hope it's not broken, and I can resume my IM training soon. I need to ride 100 this weekend!!!! We'll see. Despite the toe problems, I was still able to set an olympic distance PR by 22 minutes!

  • Comments: Overall organization and support was great. I liked the race a lot. Maybe waves could start a little earlier so it doesn't get too hot outside for those who start on the later waves. Had lots of fun and will surely be back next year!

  • Comments: This was BY FAR the most fun that I have ever had at a race. It was highly organized, the volunteers were great (Tracie, my wife, was one of them), and the course was really fun. This race will definitely be on my list for next year and probably for years to come.

  • Comments: For my first Olympic, I was very happy overall. I had a great time on the course and I exceeded my expectations. Very well organized race. I will definitely try to do this one again next year to (greatly) improve my time!

  • Comments: I love this race, even though I don't feel like I have had a good race here in 3 tries. My swim was right on the money, although a little slow for me ( I should be doing 1:30/100 yards and not 1:40). I know this is a good time for most people, but it's my strength and I need the extra seconds to help my overall time because of my run inabilities. Transitions were another issue today for the same reason my run stinks. I am slow on my feet. One day the turtle will beat the hare. The bike was a good effort and I am pleased with my time, I need to drop 15 pounds and I think I will see that effort going up Congress get better. I was pretty spent at the top of each small hill and had trouble getting speed as I went down the hills. The run stinks, I need a coach and I need one now. I really enjoied meeting Dennis and Aaron (Sp?) before the start. It's nice to put a face with a name. I have seen Aaron at many races and have respected him for carrying that flag the whole way. • Comments: I really enjoyed this race. Overall I beat my best olympic time even with taking the bike portion easier than I could have gone, and losing some energy in run. Oh yea and t1, t2.
