  • Comments: I like this race. Great schwag, great entusiasm... they do the best they can with what is available. And it is super close to my house. Can't beat the 3 minute drive home after a race.

  • Comments: I did my first triathlon three years ago, and it was a mini. But this time I really felt like part of the club, really truly a triathlete. This was a fun event, and I'd do it again.

  • Comments: The race was very well organized. It was cold and windy which made standing in line on the pool deck a drag, but a good event.

  • Comments: Good race. I knew I wasn't going to beat my time from 2 years ago so I was able to just do my best and enjoy myself. The spectators were awesome (getting up at 7 on a cold Sunday just to cheer people on? wow!) I just had fun. and the best part? I placed in my age group!! I never in a million years thought that would happen. If I'd had any idea I would've stayed for my medal! How awesome is that? Tri #13, one of the most fun, *and* I place in my AG?!! w00t! I'm feeling great. this is the motivation I need to kick up my training so I can do well in Pittsburgh.

  • Comments: for a small local sprint, this is a great race. they are very organized, fun, chip timing is perfect, and i like the post race food. for being in a development, i really like the course. there are small things like inconvenient packet pickup and the race starting late as well as things outside their control like the transition set up incorrectly (bike in/out has to be the same in that parking lot). all in all though i would definitely recommend this race for anyone.

  • Comments: After doing this race again, I'd say it's again a great race! Besides being local so we can sleep in our own bed, it was well run, and a decent course for being in a neighborhood. Despite the weather being chilly and the start being early, it's a fun, organized race that I'll add to my calendar for next year.

  • Comments: I had a great time at my first triathlon and felt like I performed well. I thought the event was run very well, was well marked and explained, and was a pleasure to run.

  • Comments: Great race, designed for people just starting out, spectator friendly. A little crowded on the bike course, and not the best swim seeding. But the event was run extremely well and things went off without any real glitches. I got a $20 gift certificate and a custom made jersey (all the AG placers and overall winners got them). After looking at the results I was only 9 frickin' seconds out of the top 3!! I could have had any number of slight changes be it a clear swim or a smoother T2 and I would have been in 3rd. The 2nd place guy was another minute up the road, so I wouldn't have been able to "catch" him.
