  • Comments: Loved the race. Had I been physically prepared 100% instead of 65%, this would have gone a lot better for me. however, that's not the race's fault! The race itself was great - organized and lots of support from volunteers, cops, and spectators. The course was absolutely beautiful (albeit hilly).

  • Comments: REV3 did a bang up job. The cool towel at the end was awesome. The course was pretty brutal but I knew that going in. Could have done without the oppressive heat but that stuff happens.

  • Comments: Rev3 Quassy has been, by far, the best race I've done, both running and triathlon related. The course definitely challenges you and you need to be both mentally and physically ready for this course. The volunteers and organizers were amazing and the pro field was awesome. The race also brought out some awesome age groupers and I can't wait to race again at Ironman Lake Placid. The finish shirt and medal were both awesome and anyone who finishes this course definitely deserves both. Rev3 is an amazing organization. I will definitely be back next year.

  • Comments: What a great event! Post race food left something to be desired, but otherwise for a race this large I thought it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Rev3 to anyone.

  • Comments: As has been said, the Rev3 crowd do a very good job. If I were to complain, I'd say more areas to sit in the shade would not be unreasonable. It's been sunny now several times in a row. And I'd definitely fix the parking problem at this venue. There is no need for single entrance into the park. A second entrance at the top of the hill should be made for 'event' parking like this one.

  • Comments: Rev3 puts on absolutely AWESOME races, but I do wish they had a bit more aid stations out there especially when it's hot. I am just a tad bit spoiled from doing Kona last year

  • Comments: A well run race overall but not as good as two years ago. The swag has gone downhill and there could have been more and better volunteers at the water stations on the run. I was planning on walking the aide stations, but if you wanted to run through you would have had a difficult time getting what you needed, not enough seats/ shade at finish line, no massage or ART at finish line. This is still a great race however, especially if you have a family that would enjoy the park while you race. I like the challenge of the course and will most likely do it again.

  • Comments: Rev3 does a great job - thats the bottom line. Organized and professional for sure. But of course, I can complain about a couple of things: 45-49 having to wait for an hour on the beach to start at 745 - not happy - longer time during run in the sun, etc. Very limited shaded seats at the finish - I needed a seat in the shade but could not find one anywhere. Found my self competing for seats, drinks, etc. with hundreds of non-racers - not just family members, but people from the park I think. Would be nice to have some space and a chance to get a cold drink before someone's kid gets their 15th soda and the ice runs out. The finisher medal almost knocked me over it is so large and heavy - a bit ridiculous. The finisher shirt used to be a tech jersey - now a thin cotton T (mine had holes). The swagbag has reduced as well - used to get goggles and/or a nice T-Shirt. Now a baby-blue visor??? Wont be wearing that. Ok, enough negaitve - it was a well done event. Volunteers

  • Comments: REV3 really knows how to put on family friendly races. They hold them at locations that are fun and easily accessible. The course is challenging and the support is amazing. Even though I knew REV3 was a good race to do from 2011, I was even more impressed this year as the race director and team personally called people after they registered to see if they needed any information. They added more family activities with 5k glowstick run on Friday night, a big screen move and more. I can't say enough about this organization. I hope to do more races put on by them in the future. only issue I had was that I saw no sunblock on the course. I put some on pre race, but there was no more to put on while on the course, so needless to say my back/shoulders are a bit more red then I would like.
