• Overall course based on my ability: Just right


• Comments: This is a great race for beginners! No open water (though pool swims have their disadvantages.) Course is not too hard, but does have small hills. No testosterone to get in the way on the course, and all-male volunteers make it fun. I don't know about post-race because we left due to rain, but no complaints.

• Comments: I wasn't jazzed about an all-woman race, but found it to be really quite nice. More so than the all-male volunteer crew, the cool part was the "You go girl" that you got from all the other competitors.
