  • Comments: bag check in was a mess, as was the post race food. Too small of a tent and too long of a line. We skipped the food and hit Paul's Donughts for a breakfast burrito.

  • Comments: This is a small but nice race with plenty of sceanic views and quaint neighborhoods. I like the start and finish in downtown but the layout and organization at the finish line lacked some thought. I gave up standing in line for food cause it took way too long. Also, it was a mess trying to get back to the parking garage since the I couldn't get around the 5k race in progress. However, I would do this race again. It's a great course that I would describe as a miniature version of the Austin AT&T Half Marathon course. The hills are not as steep in Cowtown but some are more gradual.

  • Comments: very well organized race. loved that there were a ton of people racing. volunteers were great and well placed. drink stations were plentiful. loved it. want to do it again next year!

  • Comments: The course is mostly flat/downhill. Not any major hills to climb. The biggest thing I would change is move the run off of Camp Bowie Boulevard where the surface is clay bricks. This did a number on my feet and I saw a couple of people get hurt.
