  • Comments: I thought is was a well oiled event. Lots of volunteers, coordination and communication. I was amazed at how smoothly it went off.

  • Comments: While talking to my local saviors, I would have to agree. There are probably more scenic areas of pheonix they could have planned the race through, but hey at least now I know where to get porn in Phoenix.

  • Comments: Overall it was pretty good. There was pretty good croud support and the bands were fun, although some were not that good. It was flat and fast and I would do it again

  • Comments: It was fun. I learned a lot since this was my first half marathon ever. It was great to run in a warm climate given the snow-covered trails I have been running for the last couple of months. Next year I'll come back stronger and a bit faster. 1 hour and 45 minutes in next year's goal and quite attainable as long as I stay strong. Thanks to my wonderful brother Scott who pushed me and helped me finish. It was a great weekend of just hanging out in Arizona.

  • Comments: I am really excited to improve my PR by eleven minutes. The day was perfect for me. I knew the course better which allowed me to race differently this year. Elite does an excellent job of organizing large races.

  • Comments: Great race. I did this race 4 years ago in 2:11 so it was almost a 30 min PR for me! The half marathon is a fun distance, I should do it more! It also made me look forward to my marathon in June. I'm glad I decided to do it, we finished off the day at a BBQ with the tri club- good food and good friends! :)
