• Comments: This race was so much fun. I really really enjoyed myself and thought it was a great introduction to the sport. The racers were super great and encouraging, the crowd was super supportive and the event was completely top notch. It was also really cool being part of a race that had world class athletes competing. The guy that was first out of the water for the first wave of olympic racers finished his 1500 faster than I did my 750!! That was really cool, not that I was so slow but that he was a speed machine. That also goes for all the speed demons on the bikes. Really really cool to see all that raw power in action. It was a five star event and I'm looking forward to doing the olympic next year and hopefully (fingers crossed) I won't have to deal with the issue of being hit by a car!! Great great event.
