  • Comments: This race was done so well, and was so much fun! I would do it again in a minute, even tho' it was really hard. The organizers do an amazing job, and the city really worked with them. They closed the channel during the swim and all the yachts had to wait for us. And we had 2 lanes of 3 blocked on MAJOR causeways on a weekend morning for goodness sakes! The other cool thing is the venue, downtown and in a park - DS and DH had a great time, too, so I didn't have to worry about them 'sacrificing' for me. It was just a great race, I recommend it to anyone wanting a fun challenge!

  • Comments: This was an EXTREMELY challenging race between the wind and bridges. I would like to try it again. It's kind of interesting at the beginning when they ferry you out near the island you have to jump ship and swim the rest of the way.

  • Comments: This race is unique and the venue is great for the athletes and spectators. I think that the roads will be in much better condition next year when all the construction in downtown is completed.

  • Comments: A bit pricey but not a bad experience in what can most closely resemble Escape from Alcatraz in Miami. The polynisian drum band and the Tiki Torches on Escape Island were pretty cool. So was the boat ride. Is it worth $130? Let's see how I feel tomorrow.
