  • Comments: Awesome set up. Wonderful hotel. Two rooms in one, a living room and bedroom. Two tv sets.Great race price of 89$ Shuttle to the race. Was confusion on return shuttle and race director was driving people back. Thanks to him we made it to the truck. I had to cut us in front of the return line and piss off a few folks, but when its time to go its time to go. I wasnt leaving my honey to sit around on the curb for god knows how long. After returning home and discussing the heart rate situation it was determined that there was no way my heart rate was 200. There must have been an error with the monitor, which others have experienced.

  • Comments: Could have kept some of the things like the free massage open longer for the people that really needed it. ANd the beer was TOO far from the finish line!

  • Comments: Lots of drink and Gu stations but I saw little to no medical aid stations, during the OBX marathon they were at every other water station, didn't effect me much but I know it effected other which needed vaseline :) Also quite a difference in crowd participation between OBX and this race, I felt like a rockstar finishing OBX but noticed many of the later marathoners came in to hardly anyone.

  • Comments: Great job FSSeries! Very nice race. My only compaint is the shortage of port-a-potty's. Races NEVER have enough of those. I would pay $10 more just to be sure the line is not 30 deep with only 20 mins to go to race time.

  • Comments: Definitely would recommend this race. It was very fun and well organized for an inagural event. There were free massages, pizza and beer! And the results were posted on the SAME DAY! Love it! Kudos to the race director!!!

  • Comments: Aid stations were every 2 miles. That's a bit of a stretch for me, but it did not pose any problems. I've been stretching out my need for aid lately to be ready for the intervals, and it worked okay today.
