  • Comments: Not complaining or dogging anyone because all of the volunteers were great, however at the mile 4/9 water station I think the young girls there should have had a briefing or an experienced person helping them with decision making as runners passed. My explanation is at mile 4 I was starting to experience some cramping so I started yelling heed! before i got to the station, the 2 girls both had a cup of water in each hand which was very good but I wanted heed. Coming back, there was one guy at mile 4, while I was going back at mile 9, the same 2 were trying to hand the one guy 4 cups of water while I basically had to get my own. Again, I appreciate theyre volunteering and know that it was not on purpose, but a race of that length, and the outside temp getting that hot, those volunteers need to be more aware. Other than that Great RAce!

  • Comments: After watching sprint the next day, I felt swim support could have been better especially on outside of course. Wife told me they were letting olympic people warm up and they ran in to several half swimmers coming in. That should not happen. Aid station support was awesome. I emailed race director several questions before race and never got reply. he had answered questions on facebook. They should let you know they are putting answers on facebook. Also I never got checked out when I was picking up bike. Anyone was allowed in and out of transition after the race. This is not good either. Easy way to get a bike stolen.

  • Comments: At first I thought having aid stations every mile would be overkill, but was I wrong!!!! Each and every one was much appreciated, with great and enthusiastic volunteers who were out for a LONG time.

  • Comments: Thanks to everyone involved with FS Series. They did a good job setting it up and watching after me when I was done. I just wish they'd posted on the website they'd be serving HEED on the run course or responded to my e-mail when I asked. If I'd been comfortable enough to drink some maybe I'd've had fewer problems and not lost 30 minutes on the back end of the run.

  • Comments: I liked the race, course was fun a few to many turnarounds on the bike, but that's my only complaint, volunteers were great but could have used a little more training I had people offering me all kind of drinks not what I asked for , but there enthusiasm was great and they were mostly very young so no complaining. Nice Booty bag, setups is getting so cheap FS blows them away in this aspect. I think FS is trying harder on the races they put on.
