  • Comments: Other than having to wait in line for litterally over 2 hours this was a fantastic race. I definitely want to race it again next year...healthy! I could have grabbed a spot for 70.3 worlds but already planned on doing Escape to Bermuda the week before. Can't wait to do this race again next year!

  • Comments: too many people afterwards with too long of a line for food. left innstead to go get food elsewhere as we didn't want to stand in line. also didn't like the fact that family members were being allowed into transition.

  • Comments: Awesome race site, great views, people were awesome. Super organized from the chutes and transition, to the packet pickup 'Timberfest' on Sat. Would recommend this race weekend to anyone. We'll be going back.. but maybe for the sprint.. and watch the pros on Sunday. Make sure you train for long hill climbs on the bike!

  • Comments: I was slow, BOBOP, didn't meet my goal, and didn't break 7 hours, but I did finish with a smile on my face, and I had a LOT of fun, so this was a VERY successful race for me. Endorfun puts on a great event, so if you ever have a chance to do one of their races, do it!

  • Comments: Great pre-race events, a sprint, kid tris, diners, expo, lot of cool stuff. World class athletes, team hoyt, and a ton of great people. Yes the post race food wait was a pain but everything else was great and the course and lake was beautiful and challenging. Hopefully I'll be healty and ready go hard next year, but the effort was good and I left with a great taste in my mouth.

  • Comments: There were some issues with the food line, but I wasn't that hungry right after the race so standing around for an hour or more didn't really bother me much. Otherwise, this race is A+. It's well organized and a lot of fun. I hope to be back again.

  • Comments: I would highly recommend this race to anyone interested in a 70.3 distance. The area is beautiful. The race was very well organized, and it was fun despite my poor performance! Some big name athletes raced Timberman including the winners: Chrissy Wellington and Andy Potts. Only complaint about the race was the post-race-food line which we stood in for an hour to eat pizza, cold cuts, and some antipasta. Overall, Timberman was a great experience.

  • Comments: This was my first experience with a race of this scale and I was not disappointed. There are not enough good things I can say about this race in terms of its organization and preparation. Awesome race.

  • Comments: This is an awesome 70.3 race. It is a great location, challenging course and awesome pro field. I can not say enough and really have no negative comments. Only thing is you need to make reservations for a hotel a year in advance. If you want an amazing place to stay, Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is awesome; expensive, but worth it for a weekend escape. I will be back to this race again. Probably not next year, but it will be on our schedule in the future.

  • Comments: For my first experience, it was great. Very orgazined, lots of fun activities before and nice perks like hats, t-shirt, finishers medal, etc....I loved the run course most with so much support, it got me through the toughest time and made it fun. I was impressed with how well every thing was marked and organized. It is not the most condusive space to hold such a large evet, yet it was pulled off so well. I have one criticism, but it is minor. There was a lot of food for the athletes after the race, but unfortunately, there was one line and a 30 minute wait. That line was that long for a few hours. I was tired, hot, hungry, but the last thing I wanted to do was stand for 30 minutes for free food. Minor personal issue there. I did get to see team hoyt, andy potts and I met chrissy wellington and had here sign my bib. She is so very nice. It was a great experience and I am glad that race was my first HIM.

  • Comments: Since this was my first HIM I was pretty pleased with my pace, and I came in within 8 minutes of my goal pace (7:05). I was also pleased that the problems I had were expected and explainable, there were no surprises. By far, it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life!
