  • Comments: I really enjoyed my first triathlon. I have to say that the thing that surprised me the most was that when I wrote down my guess for my overall time I cam within 1 minute of that time. It was good to see that a lot of hard work had payed off. The problem now is that I have the bug and I'm already back to training. Now I just need to find someone to train with!

  • Comments: What a great race day! I got to race with my teammates, Kimm, Jon, Sunshine, Jeff, Lisa and share Mike's first tri experience! It was awesome to race with Coop (and share recovery drinks too!), and be cheered on and supported by Jo,Trish, Marian, Kathy, Kristen, Jen and Dave. I had so much love and support coming my way...I can't thank everyone enough for the mojo and good wishes! I am one very very lucky girl! I'm really happy that I placed 4th overall for women and got 1st Masters overall! It was really nice to do so well at the same race that was my first triathlon experience in 2006! :-)

  • Comments: It is an interesting race based on it size. It has the potential to keep growing but seems to be a small race every year. Even though it is small, it has great raffle prizes and a big support staff. I was surprised to see for the size, how well it was put on. The only thing was the traffic on the course. I almost got hit twice due to stupid drivers not paying attention to the cops directing traffic.

  • Comments: From what I'd heard, 3D races are all disorganized and have lots of problems. I'd have to say, though, that overall this one was pretty good. There were lots of volunteers and they had lots of drink stations, which was nice. The only thing that I think could have been improved was to have a pre-race meeting a lot sooner than just before we're about to go into the water. Also, they need to have maps of the course up for people to look at. There was mass confusion over the swim course that could have been easily fixed just by putting up a map.
