  • Comments: Great way to start my Tri career and I just wish I had pushed myself a little harder to get main goal of sub 1:30 time but 1:31 is close enough for me. Lots of fun and great volunteers.

  • Comments: My first real triathlon. Great experience. Really got my motivation up. Looking forward to more triathlons and more Ultramax events.

  • Comments: If they're going to have 800 people registering for this race next year, they might want to consider doing something different for the swim. Three hours is a long time to wait and I wasn't even at the end of the line. Even the race officials were saying that it took a lot longer to get everyone in the pool than they expected.

  • Comments: Good race overall. I think the bike and run course could use an overahaul though. Well organized and executed. We didn't stick around for awards, because it took forever. That is one of my pet peeves. For a race that takes a little over an hour, shouldn't have to wait around for 4 hours to get awards. Or if someone wants to get their award before hand they should be able to. Oh well, it was just a bottle of wine, and I don't even drink. :)

  • Comments: I am kind of biased when it comes to the race evaluation because Mark Livesay is my cousin but I think he puts on some fun and and well planned events.

  • Comments: If I had this same time last year I would have placed 2nd in my AG by 8 minutes.... definatly a higher level of compitition this year. Bummed I didn't place, my times were good though so I'm ok with it. Great atmosphere, would definatly do the race again!

  • Comments: thought this was a well organized race, ran very well. Lots of volunteers, most of the biking was on busy streets, but volunteers did a great job at all intersections. Not much way around the slow swim start, tough to get close to 800 people through the pool.
