  • Comments: This was a great first year race. Well, Moffitt is a cancer center, I work in a Hematology lab and I see a lot of blood cancers. There were no porta potties at the start. I had to pee bad at the beginning. I couldn't help it, had to stop when I saw them at mile 2. I spent a good 40 seconds peeing (yes, I timed it!)and another 20 trying to get my sweaty shorts back on. ugh. I ran out of there still adjusting. Worst thing- no gatorade at water stations. Just water. I needed gatorade. Post race buffet was great- bagels, nanners, huge red apples, oranges, Clif Bars, Kashi Bars, and Hooters Wings served by Hooters Girls. :) Powerade sucks- it's like drinking super strenght Kool Aid!! The Moffitt employees had a "Blue Box Decorating Contest"- all the porta potties were decorated! It was hilarious! On the outside AND inside! I should of bought my camera. I went in one and there was an "inspirational tidbit" at eye level when I was hovering that said "don't look down!". There
