  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: For it's first annual event and the organizers did outstanding. I expect at least double what was out there this past Saturday. Not an easy course, but just enough of a challenge to make it fun.

  • Comments: This was the first year of this race. It was awesome. The race reminded me of a Thunder Road marathon, but on a way smaller scale. These people had their act together. The course was well marked. There were plenty of spectators, and houses to look at. There were a few aid stations, not many, but enough. Oh yea, there was only one port-a-jon on the entire run course. It was at mile 3 and I did use it because there wasn't a line. They had these computers at the finish line. You could type in your bib number and hit print. The thing printed out your race results like a cash register printing a receipt. On the way home we noticed that the results were already posted which is awesome. There was also a finisher video. Yes I will do this again.

  • Comments: TOTALLY AWESOME INAUGURAL RACE! This race is going to grow exponentially over the years. The swag bags were re-usable lunch totes with goodies inside, there were long sleeved tech shirts, nice medals AND hats at the finish line, great course, awesome timing results! This was all new to me. There were NO visible chip mats, but I knew we had chips in our bibs. I have no idea what was triggering the chips. There was a tent with huge monitors showing AG winners, etc. There were two more computers where you could type in your bib#, it would pull up your results, then you could hit "print" and a little grocery store type receipt pops out with your printed results! AND.. a few hours later we were having lunch and talking about the race. I decided to check the results. There was ALREADY a link on the race website with complete AG results! AND (yes, there is more)... there was a link to Finish Line Video! The video was on the entire time and you could scroll it to find your finish!
