  • Comments: I really love this race. It's big enough to feel like a festival race but small enough where I feel competitive. It has a great community feel and you can't beat the free admission to GermanFest and free beer ticket they throw in for racers. Nice raffle, too. My only gripe is that the race is not chip-timed, and those few seconds it takes to get to the start line matter. Of course, the best thing about this race is that when you cross the finish line, they don't just hand you a cold bottle of water. They hand you two sausages. Spicy ones, too. And really, how can you top a good spicy sausage (or two) after a hard all-out sprint?
