  • Comments: Wish we woulda attended the awards ceremony...that was the only way you could win the cool bike raffle. Had to be present to win, didn't know this at the time. Wish I didn't have to head home right away. We did eat lunch with McFuzz & BAMBAM66 and boys. They are awesome people, was a pleasure to hang out with them.

  • Comments: I loved the women's only triathlon. I mean it was my first one anyway, but I thought the spirit of all the women and the cause (for ovarian cancer) was empowering.

  • Comments: Good first timers race for the fact that half the people have average bodies, equipment and experience. All levels of abilities here and everyone is nervous about it being their first race. Everyone was really nice and supportive. Volunteers were well informed and patient. Stickers they make you put on bike and helmet have adhesive that wont come off...ugh....There needs to NOT be a little league baseball game going on in the park where the finish is being held- multiple foul balls kept hitting people in line that were waiting to get their bikes out of transition at the end. They need to figure out that end-of-the-race transition bike pick up thing- most people waited over an hour in line..... I just wanted to get home! I still had an hour drive! I mean, my keys, money, etc were in there besides my equipment....oh yeah, one more thing...this is an all-womens triathlon-please put MORE porta potties out!!!

  • Comments: My biggest beef with this race is the size and waiting involved. BUT it's something that is to be expected and if you manage your expectations, it's fine. I was just really done with wearing wet pants and was dying to change and faced with a 30 minute wait to get my dry clothes. BTW, I changed on the scene. No porta potty for me. My patience was cooked. ;)

  • Comments: This is my 4th time at this event. My only complaint is the LOOOOOOONG line to get back into transition. We did ALOT of standing around waiting for things. I will post photos as I get them... A huge shout out to McFuzz and jowisc for being great jockstraps and photographers! It was nice to see your friendly faces literally **EVERYWHERE** out on the course.

  • Comments: This was a very well organized race. Definitely a first-timers race, which is great for the sport. It was big for a sprint though, so you need to have some patience for all the people (it took us a half hour to get back into transition to pick up my stuff!). However, it was great for a first race of the season!

  • Comments: I really like this race - it's usually my first of the season and the course is easy/short enough that you can go all out and really test your fitness. I set a "kick ass" goal of 1:27:02 and came in about 30 seconds better than that, so I'm completely pleased with my performance. I think this is also the first tri I've done where I've been well within the top 10% of finishes in both my AG and Overall.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed doing this race and really enjoyed meeting the ladies (and couple of gentelmen) from BT at the expo. Felt like such a loner at Accenture last year, so having people there you actually knew was great! Will definately do this race again next year! Also, a note for next year, the expo is outside!! It was raining on Saturday, so that was interesting! Also, a huge thanks to our BT Men jockstrappers...it was nice to have them out there cheering for us!! McFuzz...thanks for taking pictures!!

  • Comments: THere were many people here that it was hard to find each other. On the other hand, there were so many people here that the wide range of ability levels made it a great first race. I got the opportunity to pass people and to be passed. It was very incredible to know that I started in wave 10 at 7:36 and I was being passed on the run by people in the 17,18 and on waves! I'm glad this was my first race. I learned a lot about me and what I can do. I learned that I panic way too easy and need to work on my self-confidence in regards to my training. I learned that I really do want anoher bike so I will have to build that into the budget over the off-season. I learned that I'm not a quitter! When we got home McFuzz was asking me if I was going to call all of these people that we know and tell them that I finished. I could only think of one person that I wanted to tell! He wanted to tell the whole world!
