  • Comments: Great race activities. They started it a little late though, not that it made a difference. The hills were tough and Im glad I didnt do the full like I was supposed to. I think I did very well and went all out. I could not have done better. I would do it again but will train on hills more.

  • Comments: Couple of things: the race start was delayed 10 minutes because traffic was so backed up there were too many people that were going to miss the start. Inaugural year problems, yup, hopefully they will straighten that out for future events. Aid stations were few and far between in my opinion, and only 3 had Gatorade. Being a sunny and warm (70 degrees?) day I was thankful I carried my own water. Post-race they did not do the family reunion alphabet signs as advertised, which was annoying. Good stuff is everything that Rock N Roll does well - event organization, fun atmosphere, bands and music, etc. Would recommend this race if you like HILLS! Ha!

  • Comments: If I do it again next year I'll leave earlier to go to the start. I ended up paying for parking, but it was completely worth it. The traffic to the free lots was backed up for a long way. So many people were stuck in traffic the start was delayed 10 minutes. People (including me) just need to plan ahead and leave earlier for the race.

  • Comments: People are going to freak out about the hills, but they're just hills. If they're too tough, just slow down and walk them. Just like the sign I saw read, "If it were easy, it would be called your mom."

  • Comments: Everything was great but for a "Rock N Roll" series event, I was expecting more for my $95.
