  • Comments: Race was well-organized. It attracts a serious crowd, so for relative newbies like me, you're going to be lower-placed than in some other races. Bike course and run courses are great. Swim feels long. Food after was okay, but not outstanding. Not much in the way of refueling materials for immediately after the race. It was nice to have the band, but it was a little loud for me (tough to have a conversation over lunch) Sorry if that makes me seem old, but maybe that's just what Tris in general do for you...

  • Comments: This was my first Cranberry experience. Great race. Loved seeing the colleges there. This is really run well.

  • Comments: Great race...well put on, each year they make subtle improvements as they listen to racers and try to improve on what they can. I didn't like the bike course pre riding it but it suits my strengths as a cyclist. I see potential for very fast bike split for me on this course in the future and races are really all about the bike, right?;)

  • Comments: This is a great race with great volunteers and lots of crowd support. I didn't to it last year, but will try and make it a point to come and at least volunteer if I can't participate in the future. It's always good seeing all my BT friends. I don't understand why everyone needs to join a tri club when we have our own BT club.

  • Comments: Good race, very well managed. Slight delay at start was mitigated by the last swim wave. Police at every intersection and volunteers at every turn. My kids had a great time volunteering and it is clear to me that the RD earnestly cares about the athletes.

  • Comments: I really like this race. Its well organized and there's a lot of fast people at it. My only complaint is it look forever for the awards ceremony. Apparently they had an issue with the timing that they couldn't get resolved. I really just wanted to get out of there. However, I'm very happy with my results and it was a great day.

  • Comments: Love this race... BT dinner the night before, great course, great atmosphere, great volunteers, great organization, gel and heed on the course, and all my favorite people seem to show up. This is what good triathlons are all about. Best of all, my time was 25 minutes faster this year.

  • Comments: First things first. I LOVED this race and will definitely be doing it again next year. I have two small gripes. 1. I'm kind of pissed off that they didn't have the sized t shirt I signed up for. I mean come on, put the schwag bags together ahead of time with the t shirts people ordered instead of putting them together on the fly. Now I have a great T shirt that is too small for me to ever wear. 2. Little bummed at the lack of recovery stuff (protein drinks etc.), after the race. Definitely not a super big deal, but I think we've all come to expect them. I would have brought something of my own if I knew they weren't going to have any sponsors on hand.
