  • Comments: Race started late due to thick fog on the lake. Said start was suppposed to be at 8:15, but by my watch my wave went out at 8:14 and we were the second wave. More port o potty's on the run course?

  • Comments: The swim start was delayed 15 minutes because it was so foggy you couldn't see the swim buoys, but it was a good decision and by the time we started it was nice and clear. Overall a very nice race.

  • Comments: Great event! I see why it sells out every year. Very, very organized, great race management and volunteers. Post race activies included meals for races (olympic distance), a live band, ect. My wife did the sprint on sat and I raced the olympic distance on sunday. Nice for each of us to bring our kids out, have some fun and watch their parents race. My oldest is bothering me about doing the kids duathlon next year...maybe? If we do this again next year, my oldest son may do the kids duathlon. Great family involved weekend. Event location had a smaller park for the kids to burn off some energy, a skate park and some wide open soccer field to run thru. Would definately do this race again.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race. It was exceptionally well organzined and well0-supported - they even had a 14 page race info booklet that was very informative. They assigned rack numbers for each transition space, which I think EVERY race MUST do because people can be idiots. The course itself was simple to execute and well directed. The pre-race info was just enough. Also, TONS of porta potties - KEY!!! I would recommend this race to anyone, and would definitely do another Sun Multisport event.
