  • Organised?Yes
  • Events on time?Yes

  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?No

  • Post race activities? Good
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: More porta potties needed! Would've liked the distances a little longer and maybe some more hills thrown in there. I understand they have done this in the past at Bonelli Park in San Dimas. I did a triathlon there the week before and really liked the course better than this one. It would be very cool if the run could actually be in disneyland and not california adventures.

  • Comments: There were no water stations on the Bike leg and only one on the run. But, I had plenty of water and fluids with me so it wasn't a problem.

  • Comments: Very well organized. Lots of support. Great pre-race expo on Saturday. Very pro-female. Triathlete women are generally incredibly supportive and friendly.

  • Comments: I'm a harsh critic, but I have to say, they did better than I expected. With 1600 women entered and the constraints of Disneyland, they managed to get some great volunteers who helped run things smoothly. I was not a fan of the swim start because we couldn't hear the announcer at all thanks to the echoing between buildings, and because of it some people missed their assigned waves. Bike course was pretty easy and completely closed to traffic, which made it easy to follow. Run course was lined with Disney employees, who were fantastic as well, but no spectators were allowed inside the park until the very last 1/4 mile. Post race bagels, fruit cups, pretzels, and bananas were available and there were plenty, which we all appreciated. Overall, not a bad race at all. I cried at Expo when the cancer survivors came to the stage and got a standing ovation--- they did a great job out on course, although when Subaru sends them off in silver caps ahead of the rest of the race, it's far

  • Comments: For having 1600 people at this race, who came up with the number of porta potties to have??? There were only 8 in transition. I probably would have felt a lot better had I been able to go before my race.
