  • Comments: This was a well organized event with a ton of volunteers and participants. My only recommendation is to have a little more accurate description of the bike and run legs - perhaps removing "relatively flat" would be a good place to start.

  • Comments: Wish they would control the start and not allow people to cheat by running along the side of the lake while the rest of us are swimming.

  • Comments: Would love to do this one again next year and see where I place or how I do against this first race time! VERY FUN!! Need to train in open water and need to train on long flat bike distances...

  • Comments: I would love to rate post race activities GOOD, and have in past years, but this year I was a little upset about a few things. No pizza-A: its warm, this year we were given lunchmeat cheese and bread. B:salty, and easy to grab and move on, buffet style seemed slow. Also I cheered the last finisher in under 4 hours and since she "took so long" ALL the vendors had already closed up shop and packed everything away-SHE BARELY GOT A WATER! No sandwiches/gatorade/fruit/prunes/crystal light/cookies/muslce milk/mix 1--NOTHING. In the past years of this event the vendors outlast the athletes and give their product away LAST. GAmultisports usually does a good job of door prizes, this year slim picking. But not from lack of stuff. after the awards plenty of items were on the table to be distributed but weren't. Overall I LOVE THIS RACE and will do it next year. I dont need door prizes or alot of post food but dont tease with a table full if your not going to give it away and dont pack up for those
