  • Comments: It was a fun race. They had a nice band playing and the location was great other than having to park far from the transtion area.Food was different than most Firm races ...hot dogs, salad, and watermelon, and of course free ice cream...yummm! It was cool to place 2nd. Of all my sprints I have done this year, I have placed 2nd in all of them...this race there were the most competitors....the others were all 3 people. The girls who placed 3rd and 4th were 14 & 15 and I beat them by about 7-8 minutes...cool! I have always been the youngest competitor. When I got my award, I picked a prize I didn't even know what it was and don't have the thing it goes to....fuel belt gel flask...maybe my mom can use it.
