  • Overall course based on my ability:

  • Comments: i did this because my kids did the youth tri Lillian (7) was confident and way faster than last year. 25yds - 3/4 mile bike - 3/8 mile run Eleanor (4) did her first tri: She lined up for the 12.5 yard swim and the lifeguard n the water stood in front of her. -all but two of the 12 kids had floatation devices-25 pound Eleanor and a big 5 year old were sans life vests. We had to tell the guard to give her some room. SHe looked skeptical and then surprised when she took off doing front crawl. Eleanor has not been on the bike alot so she used the training wheels and went pretty slow but rode the 1/2 unassisted. a few kids were pushed a good part. when she started running i thought there was no way she could maintain her crazy pace for a quarter mile- she rocked the whole run.
