  • Comments: Much better than I thought, ING will take it over in 2008. Good people and a great atmosphere. I did Philly 1/2 as well and they rated about the same.

  • Comments: This, of course, is Hartford Marathon Foundation's premier event and I have to say that I was very impressed with the well stocked and well manned aid stations, great music on the course and a great newly revised route through Hartford. Awesome post race party and just a great day to be downtown in Hartford.

  • Comments: HMF puts on a good race, and I wasn't disappointed with anything. The new course was really nice and had plenty of aid stations and volunteers. I saw parts of Hartford that I've never seen before (and may never see again) and I thought it was just challenging enough.

  • Comments: As always, the crowd seems to thin at the later portions of the race, when we really need the support. While I like the new course, it still goes through some sections (re: the Colt Building Complex) that are just "dead zones." At least they got rid of the out and back through that section. As my hometown 1/2 marathon, and as one of Beth's races, I'll always run/support it. Thanks again for another great event, with even better weather.
