  • Comments: I like doing the race since it is at my Y and only a mile from my house. I love the tie-dye shirts and seeing lots of people I know. Some day when I do the REDMAN tri, I will be sad that this is usually on the same weekend. I am not crazy about the snake swim, but there isn't any helping that. I need to figure out my start time and not stand in line the whole time.

  • Comments: Everything was good except they only did packet pickup on race morning. They had a few lines by last name A-F, etc. Well only several off the lines had no wait...and the A-F had a huge line. Guess which one I was in. Over 30 mins in line. I felt a little rushed getting transition ready and bathroom break pre race. Race was hella competitive. 5 of the top 10 overall were in my age group. Still a great race and I had a blast. It was a nice test too see how much I improved on my first year doing multisport.

  • Comments: Nice day. Did well without killing myself, though maybe I should have pushed harder on the run. Too steady, perhaps? Either way, kept it together for a good AG finish, and not much I could do to change the results either way. Barely sweaty, since it was cool and windy.

  • Comments: Always like this race. windy but temp could not be beat- made all of the difference in race performance
