• Description: Don't miss this event! The fun begins on Saturday, May 26th, 2007 at 9:00 AM. The race will be held at Copper Hills High School, located at 5445 West, New Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Utah. This year the race will held over Memorial Day weekend. We chose this weekend to remember those who have lost their fight with cancer. HCF is hosting a non-competitive 2-MILE FUN RUN, ($10.00 cost), as well as a SPRINT DISTANCE DUATHLON (10-mile bike/2-mile run) and an INTERNATIONAL DISTANCE DUATHLON (40K bike/10K run). The Duathlon(s) cost $40.00. The bike routes go around the foot of the Oquirrh mountains, taking in some great views of Salt Lake Valley and the Wasach Mountains. The International distance takes you up Butterfield Canyon for a very beautiful and very challenging ride. Bring your whole family along, this will be a weekend for the family to remember. Of course, the race fees will be tax-deductable, since the Hess Cancer Foundation is a public charity.
