Home. It's nice to ease back into real life by still having 3 days away from the office, but it still isn't enough, ya know? 
Struggled with headaches most of the Utah part of the trip, which was a pain (literally, I suppose). This is getting old, that's all I've got to say. Today isn't too bad, so I'm grateful for that. Taking my parents out for dinner tonight to thank them for helping out with Belle while I was gone. Probably should take a shower before that? 
Been going through photos from the trip -- so, so many of them! -- and trying to start organizing and picking out the ones that are really good as opposed to just good. The scenery out there makes it difficult to take a bad photo!

Training team day. Did more running than walking & the legs were okay with this. Oh Happy Day...
No burnouts today, just not feeling it for those.  
Crazy instructor returned my paper around 9:30 last night. She nit-picked me but I got an A so whatever..

We have had two nights in a row where we slept with the house open. We often have "gift days" in February/March with total spring weather, but we are having a streak of them now with temps way above normal. Things are blooming all over the place. The other weather-shoe is going to drop starting tomorrow.

Exhausted today, did not want to get up at all.  Switching up the plan & doing some yoga today.
It took until TONIGHT to get last weeks paper graded.  I'm editing this weeks paper and at a loss for where to change things.  She' s a nut job.

Dinner at The Garden was fantastic. It's kind of a strange setup where the there's a small room at the back of an Italian restaurant that is a separate restaurant --- you can access it by a back door off an alley which is what we did. It bills itself as a tapas restaurant. Food was fantastic and not as pricey as I had been led to believe. It was good to get together with everyone since no one is doing much training together.

I have to run into the office briefly this morning. Had the idea of running in that area since it's great to get into some new territory, but it's been raining heavily with no sign of letting up. Might defer the run until later.

Today was a total vacation day. It was a spectacularly beautiful day. We went to the Biltmore House (again) but this time with 4 other friends to tour the house and winery. I haven't been to the house in ages and ages. It was a lovely day.

I feel about the same as yesterday - no energy, bit of a cough from drainage. Skipped the early swim in favor of resting although I didn't actually sleep anymore. 
Applied KT tape to my foot last night and what do you know, it feels a lot better today. Usually when I get out of bed it is tight and feels sore but loosens up as I walk around. This morning it didn't feel very bad at all when I got out of bed so now I am feeling hopeful. Now the trick will be keeping it from getting po'd at work. I am going to wear running shoes with a brace and the KT tape. 
I am planning to ride the trainer after work since I didn't get up to swim today if I can muster up some energy from somewhere. 
Felt better as the day went on and my foot did better today than it has all week!
