Pedal Stuck

Well this is ticking me off.  The stock pedals on my brand new bike  (http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=180000&posts=3#M2406692) are STUCK.

And yes I'm turning them the right way.  They just do not want to budge.

I'm afraid of breaking the carbon cranks.  Any solvents you'd recommend e.g. PB Blaster (or to stay away from) to loosen them up.

The next step is to take them into my shop and use the air tools to see if I can break them free.
