Subject: Lake travis tri?
Anyone have any Info on this event? the event organizers site is not working.  its Oct. 4th, its a sprint.. Thanx for any info..

Is that Dilloman?  I saw it on a calendar but no link for registration.  At this point it must not be happening.  It was supposed to be at Pace Bend.

Don't know of any other Lake Travis tris coming up.

Yeah its suppose to be at pace bend.. well i did find a # for the event director so hopefully when i call tomorrow its still happening.. i would like to do it..

maybe a lil now after this week and half of downpour, but not sure how much ... are there any other sprints in TX on oct 3rd or 4th weekend? i havent found any..

I sure hope there's water in Travis!  I'm doing an OLY at Pace Bend Park this weekend.  Drove there last weekend and there was water!  Not sure how deep it is, but looks like enough to tri.  One of the marinas was completely empty though.

Are you doing the one this weekend in Pace Bend park?  If so be prepared for a 1/4 mile run from the water exit to T1.  The water is low.

Yeah, I'd recommend bringing a old pair of running shoes to put at the swim exit so you can run to transition.  Running 1/4 mile barefoot or in flip flops is not fun.  Good luck!
