Your rear develops "contact points" with a saddle and essentially toughens up that area ... and each brand of saddle has different contact points. Along those lines, depending upon your cycling volumn and frequency it can take up to 30-45 days to break in a new saddle as it takes some time for your rear to adjust to the seat. Be sure to give whichever saddle that much time before making a determination on whether it is the right one for you or not.
