Looks like there should be quite a few BTers there.

I'm in as well.  Unfortunately I separated both shoulders a couple of weeks back during the Xterra Blackhawk Offroad Tri so I am not going to be pulling off any PB"s.  Just was able to get in the water this week so I'll be sure not to slow any of you down!

I'm in. My training's been a little reserved since Steelhead, but it will be fun. It's also my wife's first Tri.

Lost my Garmin 305 coming out of T1. That stings a little. Noticed it was gone about 30 seconds out of transition. Decided to keep going. Starting to regret that now. Oh well.

Sorry to hear that. I would check with the race director. Maybe someone turned it in. I assume you had one of the quick release units for it. I've heard that they have a tendency to pop off.

Amazing. Call me a skeptic, but I had written the Garmin off. Got a call tonight from Rob, the guy in charge of all of the volunteers. A volunteer turned in my Garmin. Not only did Rob call me to tell me, but he insisted on bringing it to me. A real class act.
We've all read it many times, but please, thank the volunteers!!!!

I wish I could blame it on malfunction of equipment, but just stupidity. I just strap the watch to the handle bars normally. I remember setting it there and thinking, I'll strap that on in a minute. So, it must have just been sitting there when I ran/rode off. Lesson learned.

Glad to hear that you got it back.  And it was a nice touch for Rob to offer to bring it to you.  Things like this will keep us coming back year after year.
