They get this stuff from snakes.  It turns out that when you put a snake under high pressure at room temperature (you don't have to kill it first because the high pressure does that for you), it produces a special oil ('Body Endurance Complex' -- patent pending!) that boosts natural EPO production.  (On a more serious note:  some of these 'safe' supplements produced by unscrupulous manufacturers have turned out to contain truly banned, and dangerous, substances (contrary to their labeling).  I say that if the advertising looks dodgy -- and this is pretty much a classic case of dodgy advertising -- then don't trust the company to be giving an honest list of ingredients.)

YES! I've been taking a B6 and B12 supplement ( vegetarian) and have noticed a highlighter color urine I kept thinking I was dehydrated!

ENP - 2009-09-16 5:55 PM I saw it advertised on facebook. What is this stuff?

I'm looking for a copy of the study that they "presented" at the ACSM conference(Improved running economy and maximal oxygen consumption after 4-weeks of oral Echinacea supplementation ), and it's not on pubmed or any of the other traditional sources. I'm guessing that means it wasn't selected for publication, probably due to flawed research or poor methodology.

If they take out six page advertising sections in Muscle and Fitness then run, run fast - think Hydroxycut or ephedra or....

Edit:  Come to think of it, it might increase my running performance - how fast can I run and hold my wallet at the same time?

Yeah, and if you eat enough of it, it'll turn your poo yellow!  (Actually, to turn moderately serious for a moment, I really love dandelion greens.  Pleasantly bitter flavor -- and free!  Maybe I've gotten faster by eating them.  Maybe I can stop training and just eat more dandelion greens????)
