It turns out that when you put a snake under high pressure at room temperature (you don't have to kill it first because the high pressure does that for you), it produces a special oil ('Body Endurance Complex' -- patent pending!) that boosts natural EPO production. (On a more serious note: some of these 'safe' supplements produced by unscrupulous manufacturers have turned out to contain truly banned, and dangerous, substances (contrary to their labeling). I say that if the advertising looks dodgy -- and this is pretty much a classic case of dodgy advertising -- then don't trust the company to be giving an honest list of ingredients.)  |

What is this stuff? http://www.epoboost.com/ I'm looking for a copy of the study that they "presented" at the ACSM conference(Improved running economy and maximal oxygen consumption after 4-weeks of oral Echinacea supplementation ), and it's not on pubmed or any of the other traditional sources. I'm guessing that means it wasn't selected for publication, probably due to flawed research or poor methodology. John |
