Hartford Half Marathon

My goal was 2:30 but not it is just to finish!  This is my first half.  Getting nervous/excited.

Good luck everyone, it looks like it's a busy race weekend in CT.

Isn't this the part Cappy, where you warn me about going out too hard?

I'm travelling to beautiful Scranton PA to run the Steamtown Marathon..this is my 2nd marathon ever & I'm looking to complete in somewhere around my Miami marathon time (a lil over 4 hours).  I'm from the area originally so the race has more emotional importance to me than anything else.  Good luck to everyone!

Good luck @ Steamtown... It would be interesting to see how many people register as Dwight Shrute.

Nice to see someone else heading to Gloucester. Baitboy, seeing as you seem to be down on tris, I think CX is were you should head for a breath of fresh air.

I'm not sure I can do both races so have to decide which one to do. Women's 4 field. Goal is not to get lapped so that I actually show up on the results unlike last w/e (fume) and to try and meet up with Kathy G.

Pitt83 were you the HEAT guy at Winding Trails 'cross last night? That, ahem, lapped me (I see a theme)

That is me that normally warns you...but I have resigned myself to the fact that you are going to go out too fast but hopefully will have the stamina and strength to hold on.  I pity you those last few miles unless you are patient

American Zonfingen Short Course 5 mile trail run/28 bike/5 mile trail run, through some serious hills.  Goal...no idea, just excited to race again.

I lap no one: Period! I'll be riding my Blue, grey and black Eddy Merckx in the Cat4 race. Wearing Mystic Velo jersey and bibs (orange and blue). Look off the back and you'll find me.

No, I haven't made it to Winding trails yet and am not sure that I can. Want to...

Are you coming for Sunday or still undecided on both? I'm Sunday only as I have a thing for my daughter's school Saturday. I'm hanging around for the Women's 4 race (probably). Your bike and kit are?

I am racing Gloucester Saturday only - got too much to do at home etc so we'll have to meet another time. Mansfield Hollow? GP of Cross in NJ?
