OK Everyone seems to like the butterfly temporary tattoo idea to honor Christine at IMFL...I've looked at  afew websites and this site is the best and these are my top 4.  Let me know which one you like.  I'll order the winnign tat.  I'll probably just order 75-100 and give them out in PCB to anyone (racing or not)who wants one

I like them all too but especially #1 and then #4 seems to fit Christine. She was groovy.. fun! I'm going to take my Lucy shirt from the race in her honor to wear sometime during that weekend too.

BTer named Christine who was part of Tampa gang and did FL 70.3 in May, got sick in June and passed away in July very quickly...she was an amazing women, wife, mom...and her plan was to go to IMFL this year to sign up for next year.

Her screen name was Lucy.

Here is a link that can share more.

Were butterflies something that she really liked?  I can only think of the Lucy character, but I didn't know her.

That's very thoughtful of you to do this for her.

Good luck to you and bring your best game on in honor of her that day!

Well this started.....I was running one day and there were a TON of butterflies out and everytime I saw one I thought of her...so here I am runnign and crying...quite counter productive...I asked her husband if she liked butterflies because everytme I saw one Ithought of her...he said yes she did anything with nature.  Kindof became a symbol of her.  He likes the idea.

I ordered 25 of 1,2,4 one other one and then 20 of some that go around your arm.  Plenty for everyone and everyone can choose their favorites

This is beautiful...I'm so glad that we have a way to remember her during the race...jockstrapping at IMFL08 was something that she was really looking forward to (and signing up for IMFL09)...I will be thinking of her so much during the race, this is a great way to remember her...thank you!
