What sort of run pace are you looking for?  I've not run the course, but I run Umstead (similar terrain).

Any really, I just want to get in the race.  Swimmer is pretty strong, she will probably be in the 35-38 minute range.  I will probably finish around 2:35 or so.

Dangit-we just made plans last night to go to the mountains that weekend.  Oh well.  Hope you find a taker, and good luck.  2:35 is very strong on that course!!

When's the race?

I had a net time of 2:18:00 at the raleigh rocks half-mary- that was with a slight wait up delay, so realistically i could do probably do just over 2

Also what's the relay fee per?

It's 9/26.  It's a 2-loop course, almost all off-road, with lots of elevation changes.  I've walked it during Duke about 4 years ago, but never run it yet.

I might be able to do the swim, if your swimmer changed to run, but I have to work that day.  I am a very strong swimmer.

It's actually 9/27 on a Sunday. It's a hard, hilly course. Probably be alot more fun without the swim and bike ahead of it. lol!

Well, if anyone else wants to put together a team, I could be your swimmer.  I think I'd come in the top 10, or real close.

I just checked the price, $190 / 3 = $63 per person plus the $10 USAT fee......seems a bit much for a half mary......
