Subject: Prayers needed for a fellow BT'er.This was posted in TAN a few minutes ago about jdwright56. Sounds like he needs all the prayers, positive thoughts, etc... that we can give for him.
Good Morning. I don't actually belong here. My name is Stephanie and John Wright is my husband. He asked me to come into your room and let you know that he was rushed into surgery this morning for an unspecified internal problem. Hopefully they will take care of it and find out what is causing it quickly. At this point, his transplanted organs are in danger and his life may also be. He was perfectly fine until late Sunday night when he woke up very ill. He thought he had the flu or food poisoning, so he treated himself for that and stayed home from work on Monday. At about noon he had been getting sick for almost 10 hours, so he called his doctor and the doctor also suspected food poisoning. He called in a prescription to help him settle his stomach and told him to call back if it did not work. He was admitted to the hospital around 7 PM last night and they started doing a lot of tests and taking a great deal of blood. They came back this morning at around 5:30 and said that they were taking him to surgery, that there was something going on internally, but the tests to find out exactly what it was would take too long to save his organs if they were being attacked. They asked for permission to operate immediately and I granted it. That, really, is all I know right now. He has been in surgery for about 3 hours and they just came out and told me that I should go eat and take a walk or something because it was going to be another three or four before I could talk to the surgeon. On his way into surgery, he asked me to get on this website and tell you all goodbye. That really scares me because it was as if he knew he wasn;t going to make it, and after all of the surgeries he has been through, he has never had that attitude. I am not sure who all of you are, but he must think highly of you. That should make you proud, as he is a great man. Please pray for him. |
