 Hawai'i |  Subject: 2008 IronMan World Championships Check in?How come I don't see a thread for who is racing this year? I may head over to spectate and would love to know who to give more cowbell to from BT. 2 weeks to go. |

I'll be wearing a blue North Atlanta Multisport Club jersey on a yellow Quintana Roo Caliente. I love cowbell so the more, the better.  |

What is a "local qualifier"? Do you have to be a HI resident?

I think the Honu Half IronMan is a big race for it and you definitely see some times that are "slower" in the larger age groups. On the flip side there are some ridiculous Hawaii athletes tearing up the course. |

The men's race seems pretty wide open, and with McGlone and Jones out and Badmann injured it looks to me like Wellington is a huge favorite. |
