How come I don't see a thread for who is racing this year?

I may head over to spectate and would love to know who to give more cowbell to from BT.

2 weeks to go.

Because 50+ BTers aren't doing it.

I'll be there. Race number 1223. I'll be wearing a blue North Atlanta Multisport Club jersey on a yellow Quintana Roo Caliente.

I love cowbell so the more, the better.

Should be an awesome pro race on both sides. McCormack has to be the favorite on the mens and the womens I think is wide open.

either watching or working... I've told them I'd man a penalty if they needed a body... I'd rather watch from somewhere else though! Hubby is officiating.

What is a "local qualifier"? Do you have to be a HI resident?

I guess there is one benefit to living in Hawaii.

I think the Honu Half IronMan is a big race for it and you definitely see some times that are "slower" in the larger age groups. On the flip side there are some ridiculous Hawaii athletes tearing up the course.

So, guys....does anyone know what time coverage starts tomorrow? I know the race starts at 6:45 local time so am I correct that live coverage will begin at 11:45 EST?

Thanks and I can't wait to watch ;-)

6 hour difference between Hawaii Time and East Coast time so 12:45 would be the matching time. I haven't looked to see when the web cast starts.

Really? I would say the opposite. The men's race seems pretty wide open, and with McGlone and Jones out and Badmann injured it looks to me like Wellington is a huge favorite.
