I am being pressured (by the same guy who made me do the krispy kreme challenge) into doing this race. I cant seem to find "eat lotsa donuts" on any HIM training plans cause I am doing the Toyota Challenge later in the month.

That's why I did the half at Buck Creek. I figured I'd get the HIM out of the way so then I could start the intense donut training needed for this race. I have no idea what kind of donuts they will have so I've been pounding all sorts of donuts. Krispy Kremes. Cream Filled. Jelly. Chocolate. Cinnamon Twirls. Donut Holes.

A guy just emailed me the sign up form. It states on there that the donuts are simple glazed donuts.

Thanks for the donut information! Of course when one trains for a marathon one doesn't just do training runs of 26.2 miles over and over. So I'm going to stick to variety plan I've been following. 10 Jelly Donuts Monday Morning, 40 Donut holes Tuesdays, two dozen Krispy Creme Wednesdays, Glazed Fartleks on Thursdays, and of course the coffee-donut brick at the Dunkin Donuts on Friday.Saturday is cross training so I do cinnamon rolls, pecan swirls, cupcakes, etc. And of course the all you can eat donut endurance training at the after church special on Sundays.

I guess they are appealing to both the "I'm okay, you're okay" crowd and the "Second place is First Loser" crowd.

Only the threat of competition can make me do stupid stuff like trying to eat double digit doughnuts and bike 30 miles.

I know! I choked down 5 but that last one was a killer! The last stop was nice in the park but the 3ish miles in were hard to ride in the dropdowns. I didn't see any BTers! Where was everyone?!?
