Clearwater - Bike to buy?

Howdy all,

I'm heading down to Florida to check out the parents new reitrement diggs, and might be heading up to Clearwater to cheer on a friend who is racing.

Also looking to buy myself a bike for visits down there in the future. Have contacted a couple local shops, and keeping an eye out on Craigslist. I was wondering if you think anyone might be selling off bikes at Clearwater? It isn't a standard practice at any races I've been to up my way (Alberta) but thought some folks who have done the race before might know if I'm taking too much of a risk to think I could stumble upon a deal out there.
