Finished my first Tri yesterday, had a great time and didn't break anything so I call it a great success. The bonus is I finished under 2 hrs.

Being my first tri I don't have anything to compare this event to but I thought it was well run and had a nice route. There was a good mix of hills on both the bike and run and the lake is great for swimming, in fact I train there. The bike course was open to traffic and wasn't a lot of shoulder but the drivers were very good and the police and volunteers did a great job at the major intersections.

So, from this 1st timers perspective I think Bonney Lake Chamber of Commerce, Police Dept, Budu Racing, and all the volunteers did an excellent job of making my first tri an excellent experience! Thanks!

Congratulations on your first tri. Sounds like you had a good time. I've done a few BuDURacing events and you are right they are well run
