cleaning up Charleston

Tomorrow, (Sat 9/12) volunteers from the Biking Las Vegas Club will be picking up trash from the section of our normal riding route along Charleston in the Red Rock park at the 13 mile Camp grounds, just past the rise after the gun range. 

If you see us out there give us a honk of support.

Last year we collected 6 bags of trash.  Funny how you don't really see that much stuff along the way.  I guess I am too busy looking for glass, wire, holes, and other things that might give me a flat or cause me to crash.

There is a burro that is hanging around Blue Diamond the last couple of weeks.  (S)He was just ounging along the side of the road today around 2pm.  But last weekend (S)He was in the street crusing along.  Watch out
