Subject: Ravx TX3 anyone?
So I'm liking this triathlon thing.  The training was a great way to get in shape and help me lose some extra weight.  I have already set some goals for next year and I want to get started on an off-season training plan.  I have a 700c Schwinn and I'm not interested in getting a good bike until I have a motor to justify it.  I looked around online and it looks like most trainers show a skewer to hold the wheel in place.  Is this a requirement on most models?

I called my local bike shop and they have a Ravx TX3 trainer for $189 which will hook up to my bolt on rear wheel.  Is this a decent trainer?  I looked online for reviews but I wanted to see if anyone here has used one.

I picked this trainer up today.  The shop had me bring my bike in to confirm everything would fit right and it does.  It seems like a solid trainer and it's quiet.  It also came with a skewer should I replace my rear wheel later.  It also came with the front block so it will be easier to watch TV and play video games to help pass the time.
