Just wanted to say good luck to everyone who is racing the SC Half this weekend. Looks like weather will be absolutely perfect. There are a lot of first timers doing this race, and I know all of you have trained very hard. Watching the logs has been a lot of fun, and I see nothing but excellent preparation. Have fun on race day. The difficult work is over. Relax your mind, and race hard. Remember to smile for the camera!!

Attack the very last hill on the run.. as a person who has only spectated this race, I most enjoyed watching people come up that. Not one face without the look of complete determination.

GOOD LUCK!!! Remember to leave the hotel extra early on race day as the site is further out than you think ... no need to add stress to your race day.

It is a first rate race - largely due to the professionalism of the race organization (Set-up puts on a good show).

Cannot wait to see the race reports.

I'd leave about 30 min to get there(before you want to be at the race site) from the Hampton.  We got good parking and it didn't back up or anything.  It's all back roads, and we got confused driving there in daylight last year the day before the race.  We're normally not directionally challenged either...it's always better to be safe than sorry IMO.  And I'm one of those weirdo's who likes to get to a race when the t-area opens.
(And happy birthday Kevin!!)

It WAS really dark!  We were thankful for a few headlamps and flashlights in the parking lot and were glad to have driven to the site the day before so we knew where we were going.

Have a great race, everyone.
