Here's a link to the location off of Landing Rd in Elkridge.

The parking area is just a little past the power lines on Landing.

As long as we want it to be. The route Josh and I did a few weeks ago took a little over an hour. That's a good route to start with. You can look at my log for 8/21.
We could make it shorter or longer depending on what everyone wants to do.

I'm in and I'm planning to put in about 80 minutes... oh and Steve I'm not walking this time now that I've got a route on my Garmin   Too many witnesses it sounds like.  Would rather have the company and throw a little extra on at the end myself if people want to run less than that.  Or if people want more than that my arm is twistable.

I just got new trail shoes after last week's foray into PVSP... hopefully my street cred will go up.

I can stretch the run to 80 minutes or so. We just won't take that Connector Trail this time. It will be the whole sh-bang!!

Looks like I'll be home this weekend - YAY!  So I'm in Smile  (Although it's WAAAY to freaking early!  AND I'm going to have to bike in the dark to get there on time Tongue out)

Can I put my bike in someone's car while we run?

I'll bring my pathfinder which will easily accomodate a bike in the back.  Steve and I were discussing last time that we could actually do the run a bit earlier given how light out it was... but that was two weeks ago so we'll cut you some slack.

Not to be too much of your grandmother, but if you want I'll pick you up and we can drive there, and then you can ride afterwards home... and not in the dark.  Me = not like people riding in the dark.

I'm a little confused about the meet location.  On googlemaps the arrow just points to some random location on Landing rd.  Is there parking there?  On a side note I was there last weekend and started from the bottom of Illchester where all the bikers park their cars.... there is a little bridge on the right that goes into the park.  That place is hilly, make sure you have a little tread left on your shoes... especially if it will be wet.

There is a big gravel shoulder with plenty of parking (at 7:00AM).  Don't get confused with another area just like it about a mile down the road closer to Ilchester (though I'm sure that place also has suitable trails).  If you're coming off of Montgomery, it's right after the wires.  Right before them if coming from Ilchester.

Actually I forgot I have the Knights of Columbus 10K that morning at 8am.  It's at that big mansion that we always pass by on the columbia course... just after the 1st circle.  I will have to take a "rain" check....   Don't worry weather.com says clear skys with temps around 65-70 for the morning.

Other than treads, I'd just take it easy and be careful on the rocky trails leave a little room between you and the person in front of you so you can plan your steps.

Ola - so how far does it end up being if we do the whole "sh-bang"?  I'm trying to figure out if I need to put in some miles tonight or not.

I'm looking forward to the run

If we do the whole thing it should be about 6.5-7 miles.
